Greetings and happy Friday Monday!

BeforeThe New Year’s holiday is always a time of fresh starts and new beginnings. When we give wheelchairs to persons in need, we are able to witness beautiful moments where someone gets a new lease on life. Cervando’s story, sent to us by the Lions club in Honduras, is one example:

I have been paralyzed from the waist down for 30 years, confined to a chair and unable to move. My son has to work the land and is so busy he seldom has time outside to enjoy the sun. The life I’ve spent confined to these four walls has been a lonely one…I receive this wheelchair with great joy, and I know everything will change for me now. I give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ A New Wheelchair!who made this happen; it is a miracle—I feel like crying from the joy. Thanks from the bottom of my heart, may the Lord bless you [for providing me with this wheelchair]. I am a poor man and could never have bought one on my own.

I know the holiday was a few days ago, but I hope this story helps you to start the New Year encouraged that every day a new story like this is written because of your faithful partnership with us.

Thank you for your support—I look forward to the next year knowing that supporters like you will be at our side.

Happy New Year and God Bless,

Don Schoendorfer
