Greetings and happy Friday Monday!

For many of us being able to spend all day in a hammock sounds like a pretty good alternative to the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. This is because we have the option to get up when it’s time for something else. Yet for six-year-old Daniela, as World Vision relates here, that was not the case:

Daniela suffers from paralysis and could not go anywhere without a family member carrying her. For most of her young life she spent her whole day in a hammock at her family’s home. But now she can count on her wheelchair. Her mother, Haydee, says “with the wheelchair Daniela can be much more mobile and I can help take care of things around my home better.” Haydee and Daniela live in a village in El Salvador that is home to more than 700 boys and girls who have been served by World Vision programs and projects. Amongst those projects 550 wheelchairs were given to 13 institutions in the country—thank you so much for your gift.

There are so many things that are easy to take for granted as we go about our lives, including those precious moments we get to take a quick breath and relax. I hope that as the weekend arrives again you get a couple moments to unwind, knowing that today Daniela can go outside and enjoy her weekend too because of your generosity. Thank you for your continued support.

Blessings,
