Greetings and happy
This week I am excited to bring you a story from our partners in Indonesia, Operation Blessing International. Today I want to introduce you to Hairul and show you how you have impacted his life:
48-year-old Hairul is a wheelchair recipient. Hairul formerly worked as a driver but diabetes caused him to lose his vision and a stroke left him paralyzed. Without mobility, Hairul was confined to his bedroom, isolated and alone. Now, thanks to a wheelchair, he can once again be a part of his family life and his community. Sofianti, his wife, said at the distribution, “[o]n behalf of our family I want to thank the donor who gave the wheelchair, so that my husband has more enthusiasm to live his life.”
I want to point out that Sofianti specifically mentioned the donor who gave the wheelchair. The donor who restored Hairul’s mobility. The donor who gave him back his enthusiasm for life. And that donor is you—each and every one of you. Thank you for your support.
