Why Nominated:Ellen van Druten is a breath of fresh air and “star” volunteer! During one of her classes at the University of California Irvine, Ellen heard about Free Wheelchair Mission and was immediately interested and signed up to help.
|Ellen seems like “one of the family” with her professional attitude, sunny disposition, and sweet, energetic personality. Whether it’s working the check-in table at a special event fundraiser, handing out t-shirts to runners at the Run for Mobility, or making “thank you” phone calls to donors at the office, Ellen motivates others with her positive attitude and humble disposition. “Free Wheelchair Mission is a wonderful group of people,” Ellen van Druten said.
